The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, the Rt Rev. Samuel Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, calls for capturing of revival values as the country heads to the 2026 general elections.
This as the church of Uganda organizes the revival convention intended to bring together all walks of people regardless of their political, religious and cultural backgrounds.
According to Archbishop Kazimba it is important for the country to embrace reconciliation, one of the core values for revival as the process of elections gains momentum across the country.
Kazimba says the practice plays a fundamental role towards minimizing chaos during and after the voting period as it emphasizes mutual understanding and love for one another.
The Church is seeking UGX 710 million to organize the 9th East African revival convention in August, which is expected to host over 15,000 delegates.
