Ssebuufu & accomplices were of sound mind when they killed Katusabe

Court has heard that Pine Car Bond Proprietor Muhammad Ssebuufu and his accomplices were of sound mind during the commission of the offence of murder, against a Businesswoman Donah Betty Katusabe.
Katusabe was allegedly tortured to death for failure to pay a 9m shs debt which was balance of a car purchase she had made from Sebuufu’s bond along Lumumba Avenue in Kampala.

The sixth Prosecution witness, a Police Surgeon Dr Emmanuel Nuwagaba who examined the suspects, has told High court Judge Flavia Anglin Ssenoga that he found no physical injuries on them, and were of normal mental status.

Dr Nuwagaba also confirmed to court that he examined the suspects including Mohammad Ssebuufu, Phillip Mirambe, Godfrey Kayiza, Paul Tasingika and Steven Lwanga on October 26th 2015, on the request of Central Police Station Kampala.

Ssebuufu and 7 co-accused persons are on trial for alleged kidnap and torture of the said Businesswoman a result of which ended her life on 21st.October/ 2015.

Prosecution led by Micheal Ojok also alleges that the suspects robbed the deceased of her mobile phone worth 300, 000shs.
