Parliament’s disciplinary committee investigations into conduct of suspended MPs

Parliament’s rules, privileges and disciplinary committee convenes this week to start investigations into the conduct of 25 Members of parliament suspended from the House.

The MPs belonging to the opposition and some NRM legislators against lifting of the presidential age limit were suspended by the speaker last week for disrupting business in the House

Committee Vice Chairperson Abbas Agaba says they will convene this week to send out summons to the suspended MPs

Agaba notes that they will also review videos recordings as part of the investigations.
