Online fraudster arrested

The owner of World Movers ltd, a company that recruits youth to be taken abroad for employment, has been arrested for defrauding customers.

Addressing the press today at CPS, the police spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Area, Patrick Onyango identified the suspect as Muramuzi Ronald, the owner of several businesses including London College on Crown House Kampala.

Onyango says 350 youth were recruited when another company called Mix Link contracted Muramuzi, who made the trainees pay him 1.5 million shillings each.

In total he conned people  of 562.5 million shillings
