Ntagali hits back at canons who dragged him to court

The arch bishop of the church of Uganda Rt. Rev Stanley Ntagali says all canons who dragged him to court challenging his authority should seize being canons of the church.

Eleven canons led by Christopher Kisembo dragged arch bishop Ntagali to high court for allegedly taking over powers of the Episcopal jurisdiction of the West Ankole diocese

The argue that by appointing a commission to be in charge of the diocese, the archbishop abused his authority and constitution of the Church of Ugandan

Ntagli has now hit back noting that the provincial constitution mandates him to oversee the entire province of the 35 dioceses

Officiating at the 9th joint graduation for Mengo hospital, he said its absurd that the canons are doing things abnormally
