Non teaching staff renew demand for salary increment

The non teaching staff in public universities petition the ministry of education demanding that government comes true on its promise of revising their salaries in the next financial year.  This in reference to a commitment made by government in May 2016 following an industrial action pledging that salaries of non teaching staff will be enhanced in tandem to salaries of teaching staff

The government noted that 4.3 billion shillings will be set aside, as a prerequisite for ending the industrial action

Under their umbrella body the public universities non teaching staff association, they demand that government considers them during the 2018 2019 financial year as promised
