The appointments committee of parliament defers the vetting of Tarsis Kabwegere as newly appointed minister for gender labor and social development minister following a petition by an aggrieved citizen.
Kabwegyere was the second to appear before the committee after Frank Tumwebaze the newly appointed minister for Presidency.
Meanwhile, Kibaale county MP Frank Tumwebaze vows to transform the image of state house and the office of the president in light of concerns that the two offices are full of imposters and the corrupt.
Tumwebaze will become the minister in charge of the presidency if his appointed is cleared by the appointments committee.
He tells journalists at parliament that the committee was concerned about the image of state house and the presidency.
Tumwebaze also says he will ensure that there is better communication to avoid physical pressure by people wanting to meet the president over several issues.
