Netanyahu visits Uganda

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to visit Uganda today to commemorate 40 years of the raid on Entebbe airport.

During the July 4th 1976, raid, in which the Isreal government sought to rescue its country men, Netanyahu’s brother, Col. Yoni Netanyahu was killed.

Foreign Affairs minister Okello Oryem says Netanyahu arrives at 1.30 p.m.

Thereafter prayers will held at the Old Entebbe Airport in memory of soldiers who lost their lives during the raid.

Oryem says that there will be a regional Heads of state mini summit at state House Entebbe to discuss the issue of terrorism in the region
