Nambooze wants parliament to suspend construction of fuel stations

Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze is set to present a motion in parliament seeking a declaration to suspend construction of fuel stations and fuel reserves.

Nambooze wants parliament to issue a directive until the country adopts the international guidelines on construction fuel stations and fuel reserves.

She says by international standards, fuel stations are supposed to be constructed between 1000 meters.

Nambooze says however this is not the case in Uganda which puts the lives of many Ugandans in danger
