Lwengo LC 5 boss seeks ULGA Presidency

Outspoken Lwengo district chairman Godfrey Mutabaazi seeks presidency of Uganda Local Government Association with the intention of increasing service delivery in local governments and involve the citizenry in development.

Mutabaazi is known for being harsh on his voters, forcing them to do community work and beating up some who fail to comply.

Mutabaazi says through the association that draws together all local government leaders countrywide, he will work towards ensuring co-operation between all elected leaders to ensure proper service delivery.

He notes that leaders should stop being lenient to locals for fear of not being voted back into office but work towards improving the well being of their electorate no matter what it takes.
