DP’s youth wing withdraws support for Nabukenya

The Uganda Young Democrats withdraw support for the party’s flag bearer in the Luwero district woman parliamentary by election Brenda Nabukenya.

The youth led by Nathan Bwoogi and Paul Ssembajjwe accuse Nabukenya of being tribalistic, despising and abusing the party president Nobert Mao.

The youth also accuse Nabukenya of failing to work to their
expectations, fueling divisions among members and failure to
participate in Buganda kingdom activities.

However, Nabukenya’s chief campaigner Elasto Kibirango suspects that the youths were bribed.
