Digital-aided learning to enhance curriculum discipline

 

National curriculum development centre develops a new program to implement the national curriculum through ICT that will see students learn on their own.

Curriculum specialist at the National curriculum development centre Droti Asile James says that through this program learning materials are uploaded in asoftware on a tablet to be used by students.

Droti says that learners will be able to learn on their own using the tablets without a teacher adding that the pilot project is being implemented in 50 schools.

Addressing a press conference today at the National curriculum Development centre Droti says that the project is intended to cover upper primary [p4-p7], Secondary and BTVET levels of education.

Under this project each student will buy a tablet at a subsidized rate of 350000 to access the technology.
