City mortuary stranded with two human heads from 2010 bombs

A Police Officer attached to City Mortuary at Mulago Hospital says he is still stranded with two human heads recovered from the July.2010 Kampala bomb cites, with no claimant to date.Deputy /AIP Aluma Charles told High court Judge Alfonse Owinyi Dollo that on the night of the blast, he received 75 bodies from Lugogo and Kabalagala respectively, all were claimed except for the two heads.

Earlier a Pathologist whose identity was concealed in witness protection, informed court  that  he examined the torsos and found them to be of male adults whose cause of death was blast injuries, while the reason why the lower trunk is missing  its because they were in direct contact with the explosives.

The Pathologist testified that he was also able to identify the origin of one of the heads to be from horn of Africa; either  Djibout, Ethiopia, Somalia or Eritria.

Hearing of the case has however been adjourned  for a full month to 22nd /September/2015, to allow the State  enough time to secure more 35 witnesses most of whom including FBI officials are foreigners, and prosecution’s Lino Anguzu  cites logistical and Diplomatic challenges of flying them in.
