Buganda to support vocational education

The Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga reiterates the kingdom’s support towards vocationalization of the education sector in the country so as to attain social economic development and create employment

Mayiga says it’s through equipping the youths today with vocational skills that the country’s resources can be effectively be put to use

He notes that through such skills youths can exhibit excellence in whatever they do.

While presiding over the 10th graduation ceremony for Buganda Royal Institute where a total of 1187 students graduated with certificates and diplomas in various disciplines, Mayiga said the kingdom is now concentrating on ensuring that youths in the kingdom acquire vocational skills.
