Boda boda riders accuse banks of denying compensation

Boda boda riders in Kampala accuse insurance companies if conniving with banks to deny them compensation when they incur losses.

The operators made this revelation during a meeting with the Insurance Regulatory Authority noting that they are not compensated when they get accidents or their motor bikes get stolen yet most of the bikes are secured through loans.

IRA Chief Executive Officer Ibrahim Kaddunabi Lubega sides with them but urges them to always have proper terms before acquiring loans
